Eat & Drink
The Island of Alderney has a variety of unique experiences to keep you busy day after day, the only thing that remains constant is the desire for stunning food, hand picked wines and the atmosphere to suit your mood. Casual drinks and snacks or culinary excellence, the Braye Beach hotel is fortunate to have four options to suit any palate.
The Beach Bar & Terraces
Our Beach Bar and Terraces have stunning views over Braye Beach and beyond and is just the place for morning coffee, a light lunch or early evening drink. On the lower terrace, enjoy our Beach Shack for a variety of home-made ice cream and treats. Alternatively for a different feel and a local vibe, pop a little further along the balcony to the Divers Inn. Here you can meet some local Alderney characters and enjoy a cold pint.
Braye Beach Brasserie
Our main Brasserie Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The many windows overlook the beach and there is a balcony area to enjoy al fresco dining. We offer casual dining at a high standard, with classical seaside dishes such as tempura battered fish and chips or moules marinere. The freshest and tastiest seafood comes straight from the fisherman’s port just a few minutes walk from the hotel.
Our newest dining area, an original wine vault turned into an up tempo steakhouse restaurant and cocktail bar. Very different from anywhere else in Alderney, serving succulent steaks, an eclectic range of wines and a great range of cocktails. Open late Tuesday to Sunday and closed for dinner service every Sunday and Monday until 3rd June.
The Seaview Restaurant is our signature restaurant offering an A La Carte menu and sumptuous traditional Sunday Roasts. Head Chef Alek prides himself on his regularly changing array of locally sourced dishes, perfectly presented and matched with the finest wines. Cosy and romantic with great ambience - a very special experience.
